Welcome to Glimmer, a data platform designed for educators. Glimmer aggregates academic, social-emotional learning (SEL), and attendance data to generate clear, actionable insights that support teachers, administrators, and school systems.

By accessing or using Glimmer’s website, services, and platform, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Glimmer, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, as well as our Privacy Policy.

2. Use of Services

Glimmer provides tools to collect, integrate, and analyze educational data. You may use the services solely for educational and administrative purposes in accordance with these Terms.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use Glimmer. By using the platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

4. Data Responsibility

Glimmer integrates data from a wide variety of sources, including but not limited to Excel, Google Classroom, i-Ready, Formative, IXL, NWEA MAP, Desmos, PowerSchool, Schoology, Canvas, and Lexia. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of these integrations complies with all applicable data-sharing agreements, policies, and regulations.

5. FERPA & COPPA Compliance

Glimmer is committed to maintaining compliance with FERPA, COPPA, and other applicable data privacy laws. We do not collect or use student data except as directed and authorized by our school and district partners, and we follow each school's data privacy agreements to ensure COPPA compliance.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard practices to protect your data. While we take steps to secure the data, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, service marks, graphics, and logos on the platform are the property of Glimmer or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or use them without prior written permission.

8. Modifications to Services

Glimmer reserves the right to modify or discontinue the platform (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Glimmer at any time if you violate these Terms, misuse the platform, or engage in behavior that could harm our users or services.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Glimmer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
